Jeremy is a partner in the Private Equity and Financial Sponsors Group.

Jeremy is a corporate lawyer with over 18 years' experience.  He advises institutional investors, financial sponsors, portfolio companies and management teams on the full spectrum of private capital transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, co-investments, carveouts, realisations, GP-led secondary transactions, management incentive plans and other corporate matters.  Jeremy has experience across jurisdictions, industries and sectors, with a particular focus on software, business services, education, healthcare, and insurance.  Jeremy also routinely advises European financial sponsors on matters relating to their ownership and capital structures, governance, reputation, risk management and team incentivisation. 

Jeremy trained and qualified at Travers Smith.  He left the firm in 2018 to join Livingbridge, a UK mid-market private equity firm, where he was a Partner and General Counsel for 7 years before rejoining Travers Smith in 2025.  Jeremy is a member of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) Legal Committee, he sits on the PE Advisory Board for a leading independent insurance adviser and he chairs the Livingbridge Foundation, a charitable foundation focussed on improving diversity and reducing inequality amongst young people.
